The overall impact of the stand design helped to make the fair a success for Falcon, with the brand generating interest with new customers and receiving requests for the production of a smaller scale ‘pantry’ unit, for customers to use as a point of sale.

Falcon Maison & Objet

The Maison & Objet Paris trade fair is one of the major events of the year for homewares and decoration, showcasing the latest in international trends and design. Important for the growth of the company, the fair gives Falcon Enamelware the opportunity to extend the brand to the international market.

In their second year at Maison & Objet, Falcon Enamelware needed a stand that would build on the brand awareness initiated in Paris the previous year.  The brief required a design that would stand out from the other exhibitors and display the full range of product, while taking into account the Falcon brand values and aesthetics.

Kiwi & Pom proposed taking the product back to its kitchen and cookery roots by creating an oversized cardboard ‘pantry’ - a material which would build on the previous stand designs that referenced Falcon’s packaging. The pantry provided the perfect kitchen context for the enamelware and textiles to be displayed; Kiwi & Pom proposed food and coffee packaging props that would reinforce the kitchen setting in addition to the Falcon product. This would also offer a suggestion as to what Falcon would produce if they were to offer grocery products. A custom-made ‘kitchen island’ table gave the space focus as well as a work surface for handling samples and products.

The layout of the pantry allowed visitors to see the whole product range at a glance. The shelving structure provided the versatility for showcasing both large and small products, while also creating a visual impact by displaying multiple products within one view.

The overall impact of the stand design helped to make the fair a success for Falcon, with the brand generating interest with new customers and receiving requests for the production of a smaller scale ‘pantry’ unit, for customers to use as a point of sale.
