The Gardeners’ Retreat is a combined retail, restaurant and cafe destination set within the grounds of Highway Garden & Leisure — Norfolk’s premier nursery and garden centre. Ribbed polycarbonate sheet, an insulating material commonly used in greenhouse construction, is a recurring feature, deployed as screens throughout the environment they spatially divide, yet visually unite the interior and evoke the feeling of sitting within a hothouse.
